THE CARLÖTTA BEAUTOX CHRONICLES TO INCORPORATE COVID 19 STORYLINE INTO ITS NEW SEASON

Burbank, CA, USA—The satirical comedy fiction podcast The Carlötta Beautox Chronicles hits the coronavirus pandemic head-on when its 3rd season premieres Monday, November 9th.
The Carlötta Beautox Chronicles is an award-winning audio drama that follows the misadventures of a fallen actress and influencer. Last season’s cliffhanger finale left audiences wondering how Carlötta will survive after the character was mistakenly outed as a fraud and subsequently cancelled by Twitter. She’s gone into hiding due to the pandemic and is ready to emerge to take on the world.
“The new season is set in the very moment we are living in and tackles issues in the Zeitgeist as Carlötta Beautox tries to cope with the new abnormal,” said creator Ann Sloan. “Previously apolitical Carlötta becomes an advocate for mask-wearing and takes on a fringe political movement known as Antima (anti-maskers),” Sloan continued.
The show stars Samantha Gordon as Carlötta and Trevor Lissauer (Sabrina the Teenage Witch, La La Land) as Dave. Guest appearances will include Kristi Boulton (Civilized), David S. Dear (A 9th World Journal), Sarah Golding (Madiva), Kiba Walker (Noted drag performer and voice artist), Raechel Wong (Elaine’s Cooking for the Soul), Vivia Armstrong and many others.
